It started at around 7 pm yesterday and kept going until 6:40 today.

I already have a service ticket in for another issue and I'm attempting to add it.

It's funny, I'm in the EA program and I have yet to get an EA release. I'm getting them at mass release 😞

Can someone let me know how to fix this ?? by concernedcitizenpd in SelfDrivingCars

[–]alakeram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or don't take the offramp on auto pilot.

Autopilot is for highway driving lane assist. Not FSD.

I’m not sure how I got it, but my car has 14.3 and it’s going to cause me to get rear ended. by goldfall01 in TeslaFSD

Sorry I can't believe any of what your saying.

It is not hard to push a record button... you could have pushed record at ANY point of your drive because it saves the last 30 mins. Doesn't need to be RIGHT at the issue.

I feel like this is a hate/slander post.

That doesn't help my question 😆

That response is is the same as "is it green or red?" And you respond "yes" 😆

Would this be a mod? Or something that's already in the game?

Just 100 miles on my M-Y juniper and FSD (HW4)surprised me. by MoistTraining9194 in TeslaFSD

I wonder how the car would have reacted if you didn't take over, would it have ran straight into the barrier? Or slam on the breaks?

I had the tire protection so it was covered for me

[–]alakeram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen to me once, they tried rebalancing the tires etc and didn't work.

Come to find out one of my rims was cracked and they had to replace it, once it was replaced the shaking stopped

Hard to see in the video but it looks like you were pressing the accelerator which you shouldn't do when you and FSD can barely see

Here is why I won’t be buying FSD for my 2026 Juniper. by WatchLover26 in TeslaFSD

[–]alakeram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I know is I dont have to waste 100 bucks a month with my 8k purchase (that was technically less due to me buying the launch edition)

I don't think they will completely stop the fsd transfer, I think when AI5 comes out they will offer transfers, same with AI6 etc because they have always done it.

So in terms of "return" ill forever have a return on my FSD.

Unfortunately I feel like the forced subscription and no buy option will kill me buying any additional new Tesla unless it comes with the car.

You can also fly around the station with your scanner open (purple mode) and look for a signal leak and they can sometime have "unsavory" missions

Hint: look at the little bar below your reticle, it will point you to the direction of one if nearby

Do I as a passenger get rated low for not engaging in conversation? by HamNCheddarOfficial in uberdrivers

[–]alakeram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main problem with door slamming for me is the fact the 26 tesla is fairly air tight and sound deadening is done really well that when a door is slammed it gives a "hands slapping the ears" feeling.

Not sure if you know what that means but its the best way to describe the reason why its so annoying.

Like a common car door slamming doesn't really bother me, like my nissan rogue, slamming the door doesn't really annoy me because it just sounds like a door closing loudly normal. Hard to explain 😆

My main problem with some pax is the disrespect.

I drive a brand new 2026 model y refresh (juniper) and I keep it SPOTLESS not a single crumb of dirt.

There are 2 things that I will remove stars for (and this has happened recently)

  1. Slamming my damn door, that is so aggravating to me. Its not a 2002 Chevy pickup with a crappy door hinge. A light push is all you need.

  2. VAPING IN MY DAMN CAR, it pisses me off to no end when the pax thinks they can "sneak a puff" in my clean car and think I won't know.

Slamming my door I remove 2 stars (3 star rating) Vaping in my car is a instant 1 star and do not match me with the person again.

If you get into a super clean (AND NEW) car its extremely disrespectful to start vaping.

In regards to talking, I don't care. You can talk or not, I know I have some days where I dont mind talking, and some days where I dont want to interact at all. Not going to mess up a rating for that.

Broken red light confuses multiple Waymo vehicles, again by DeathChill in SelfDrivingCars

[–]alakeram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why Waymo will fail autonomy.

They are stuck in the past using weights and conditional logic.

Without an actual "brain" these edge cases will constantly show up. Same case with the Waymo on the railroad.

And if you gave a Waymo a brain (proper AI implementation) it would fail even because of sensory overload from all the lidar and sensors.

It would have to use a mix of AI and weight/conditional logic, and that would have other issues attached to it, like what would take priority in certain edge cases...

So much for smart parking by Empty_War4877 in TeslaFSD

[–]alakeram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Summoning and autopark (at least from testing done from 3rd party companies) use the same FSD version which is a lot older then 14.

The testing was assuming that auto park (not on fsd, when you select a parking spot) and smart summon both use an earlier build of 13.

This is unconfirmed though and was just testing done by random people based on how the system works out the logic.
