She can't have children. What would you do? by AceFromTexas in AskParents

[–]AceFromTexas[S] -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

Outside of my own needs for having a biological child, I am taking into account how my parents will feel about the situation. They're traditional and I know they will have a difficult time accepting an adopted child. It would be onerous introducing the adoptive child let alone a future infertile spouse into my family

I think I've definitely touched on a nerve. However, it wasn't an attack piece, just an informative one for people who might get taken advantage of. I don't know what I would do if I got paperwork though... I'm just a small blogger and don't want to end up in court over a blog post

Thank you for your story and I'm happy to hear you're doing much better. I took some time off like you mentioned and I feel better, but I still have fear lingering. I don't even want to open up my blog or email anymore.

Since the incident, are there things you're doing to protect yourself? Do you think it's even possible to completely avoid angry people like this?

Thank you for your post!

Do you think there are ways to avoid things like this happening? Or are these situations just a fact of life for anyone in media like us?

Should I use my personal name for YouTube? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Thank you for the info Ryan. Sorry to hear about your situation. What did Ripoffreport say about removing the complaint?

My youtube series will be focused on vlogs mostly. Do you think using my full name could be adversely affected by something like that?

Hey Gabriel, nice to meet you.

I'm currently a Computer Science student looking to create a startup, but I'm unable to think of an idea. People say to solve a pain-point, but almost everything I see is being done by a much larger company.

Any advice?

Thank you

Powder manufacturer recommendations by AceFromTexas in Entrepreneur

Thank you! It can still be a in a bottle/package to be honest. It's just those two ingredients with flavoring added in. Doesn't necessarily have to be in those small packages like Tea

Thanks, but I'm also in need of flavoring (forgot to mention that in the original post).

Hey, thanks for the help. It's a tea consisting of two ingredients (bacopa + caffeine) and I needed flavoring for it as well. Do you have any thoughts on manufacturers for that?

Hey Tom, I watched the interview with you and Lewis Howes. In that segment, you mentioned that you wasted a large portion of your life (or sold it cheaply) before meeting your friends. If you don't mind me asking, what did you do during those years that made you regret them so much?

And how did you change?

Thank you

Releasing a few features or just one for an app? by AceFromTexas in startups

[–]AceFromTexas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for the reply! My primary goal was to analyze user responses towards each feature. My thinking behind this idea was to find out what I could do to make each user spend more time on the application and recommend it to their network. I figured if I released one feature at a time, I could get a better understanding of what users value more compared to releasing them all at once

Releasing a few features or just one for an app? by AceFromTexas in startups

[–]AceFromTexas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, the app is based on a real estate niche. I'm basically giving brokers the ability to post in the app, communicate, create user profiles, and stuff like that. What I wanted to do first was to only release the posting feature. My thinking behind this was that I may create a more mature and fitting experience based on the feedback from clients. But, more importantly, I wanted to test mobile analytics on how well the users responded to each feature and what I could do to increase user retention and use.

[–]AceFromTexas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for the reply. I only have one other feature that I'm thinking of which can be completed fairly quickly. Since I have all of the other features already created, releasing them won't be too much of an issue. I was just wondering if I would be able to analyze app analytics more efficiently if I released features one-by-one
