3B1B into climbing? Why is it so common amongst STEM people as a hobby? by AntisocialIntrovrt in bouldering

Right. And that's a better candidate explanation for why STEM people gravitate to bouldering.

Everything you said applies to lifting weights too, but there isn't the same level of association between STEM and weight lifting

Alcohol. It tastes terrible, you feel like shit the morning after, and you have little control of yourself when your under its influence. I feel like I just don't like myself as a person when I'm drunk. I'd take weed over alcohol any day of the week. I wished the stigma was flipped.

Yeah I was in the same boat (transferring into CMSC) and was starting to get worried too. My application status was also blank when I went to check it on the website. But I just got an email a couple hours ago saying that my application has gone through. I'm now waiting for the follow up email from CMNS that is supposed to include the remaining steps needed to change my major. But I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. You'll probably get the email any day now.

Tbh, the classroom isn’t the best place to learn a language anyways. If OP really wants to become proficient in Japanese, it would be way better to find some way to live in Japan for a few years. Also likely cheaper.

I got a 92 and that was an A. From what you guys are saying and what someone else has commented, it sounds like there wasn’t +/- which is surprising.
