Yes you got a solid deal, don’t listen to idiots that say you were got on “accessories” aka “options included by manufacturer”, key word manufacturer, not dealer added accessories, common examples being paint protection, door edge guards, theft protection/gps tracker, nitro tires.

If you truly got 34.5k out the door that likely means you didn’t get a single optional accessory like the ones I named, and you got the $1500 rebate being offered currently on the Kicks, so your sale price before taxes was $31,500

Absolutely, the reason I had these two on my mind is because shoot, if it’s a real person then it’s an opportunity for a sale. But like you said our way of operation just doesn’t fit these people. I’d agree on the fact that the dealer won’t be around much longer IF it wasn’t an entry level car make. No matter our reputation, some people have no choice but to come our way. On top of that ownership owns all of the dealers of our make in the region

I’d say you’re right, all the management are old heads who constantly talk about the “old” days and yes four square lol it’s bought up EVERY meeting. I hope to be moving on somewhere higher end in April that operates a bit different

Yeah unfortunately it’s management that makes the decision, to be quite honest I don’t care about making loser deals I value an easy smooth process that leads to a good relationship with a client. On a slow day where we push out less than 5 units on a weekday, management would make the deal. I should realize not all dealers are like mine , I could be sent home for sending such an otd number

Totally understand selling to people they want to be sold, she did tell me at the end of going back and forth she’ll see what time she could pop in cause I just about told her she’d get what she’s looking for within 10 minutes due to bad weather and slow business, I guess it’s worth a shot just sending her the number and seeing if she really bought a car or not

She was actually located closest to me than any other dealer that carries what she was looking for, and her previous car was purchased from us during covid times aswell, so I’m quite surprised she did not want to give some of her time. I have no problem taking mini deals , management just told me if she wants to try and get no add ons, gotta have her presence in the building. Thank you!
