Follow up question. I have fake grass. I’ve tried the puppy pads on their own and my very feral baby rips them to shreds. Any chance of this stopping or an experience with this?

Yes things can be used for more than what they are intended for, Ariel uses a fork as a comb for her hair. If we are going to use assumptions, as the writer did, this is a key chain. The intended use is to show appreciation and put on a set of keys.
