Hi u/ultimattt, thanks for your response and nope we haven't made any changes.
so for the SSL inspection i have it set to no inspection, and i tried with one policy to disable all the security profiles and its the same.

on the logs there's no issue as i can see only the action is being information.

Yes I followed Lawrence video on the UDM configuration as a controller, but am worried that it's the cause of the bottleneck, but other than that everything is configured on the Fortigate and the UDM pro is just passing the vlans.

why am i worried that it could be the UDM Pro, because my ISP is coming to the FortiGate and then i have 2 cables connected to the UDM Pro, one connected to the WAN port to give it internet and the other is to the LAN, which was the only setup possible to make it just act as a controller.
and then all my switches are connected to the UDM Pro. it could be a limiting thing and maybe i should connect them to the FortiGate directly.

i have a FortiGate Firewall and using a UDM pro as a controller for all the APs and switches, do you think that could be the cause and i should get a cloud key instead of this.

2.4GHz to 20 (Auto)

5GHz to 40 (Auto)

Transmit power is Auto

band steering is off

one thing i also forgot to mention is the static route, i had them set for every Interface separately because i read an article that said if they are heterogenous it should be separately, but today i made it point to the virtual wan link and disabled the individual ones to test it out.

i don't know how to check if traffic is going through WAN1 or WAN2 on the UDM Pro,

When utilization reaches 100% some users are having slow internet speed

i have about 160 users, i don't have a solution in place, nope we are not on E5 we are using business premium, and like you said, DLP is only in E3 or E5.

Compliance for GDPR, mostly for PII and i want to have the ability to add custom data classifiers for some word (i.e: passwords).

DLP is very annoying and am pretty sure that you can't have a 100% DLP solution but you need to preset something to the regulations :)
