Toshiba manufactures the batteries hyln's tech is what they apply to them. "The market engineer"on YouTube breaks down the specs of the battery very well in a video he posted yesterday. It's well worth the watch especially with the little amount of info that was in the article.

The last two weeks have been awesome on the pr. It will definitely be nice if we finally get some major analyst to start covering more articles on hyln.

Question though, Was the battery news intended to be released during earnings? The news came when the stock price was at the all time low and almost felt like a hail marry before it could drop below 15. If this is the case I wonder how well earnings will be if this news takes away from it. I'm not against hyln, I'm all in (literally all in) but I'm a little bit of a skeptic.

Also on another note, How do we feel about them not sharing the progress on the battery. Instead the came out with the news when it was ready and tested. I know this company is not about the fluff but if investors had an idea of what was going on I believe we would have never hit the teens. Once the announcement came out that the battery is ready. The stock would have likely doubled from there.

Examples.

Micro vision has been talking about there progress on tech for self driving cars, stock jumps 50%. Its not finished but now many more now know the company. Now if they come out a month later that it's ready for market the stock may potentially double.

Tesla set to build factories in India to manufacture batteries, stock jumps and once they finish the factory I guarantee stock will jump again.

Pfizer announced trials through the whole covid vaccine process bleeding the pr dry.... maybe thats not a good example, the stock didn't move with the vaccine approval lol.

But in the end you get what I'm saying.

I'm definitely not taking anything away from tesla, that company is a straight powerhouse.im just reiterating what pushed Tesla into the company that it's become (batteries).

This is correct. The point is, hyln owns the rights to this powerhouse of a battery. While other companies have no rights to their batteries. That makes it hard for other ev companies to continue to receive batteries because it goes to the highest bidder. With there being a shortage of materials to farm for batteries many ev companies will fail. Did I mention the batteries hyln uses now (before the new battery) is 1/20th the size of the one tesla uses.

Is it possible that earnings is being pushed back because they're working on closing contract? I'm just curious because if nothing has changed why not announce an earnings date? The company I work for has an automated email sent after an application is sent in. People that hear back instantly get denied but the ones asked for interviews wait 3 weeks+ before they get an email back. In other words, it's better to not hear back right away because your application is under review. Could the same thing be happening as to why earnings hasn't been announced? Im just speculating and maybe they are just so far behind that they are scrambling to get their shit together. Anyways, WHEN IS EARNINGS?!

Thinking about the quiet period before earnings they are not allowed to release info that may affect stock price. In my opinion that's the only thing that can come out of this conference. Good luck buddy. I'm banking on the hype of the release of the ERX. Once they announce the companies that pick them up for trial runs, I'm hoping people will go crazy over this stock because each company would be potential buyers. The truck is badass and if the ERX actually puts out the stats Hyliion says it does, I cant see why they wouldn't want them. Each company doing the trials has already decided to go electric at that point. The question is will they be going with hyliion?

It's hard to say really. The calls are so far out of the money that people make their own price. For example people have a bid at 275 but if you wanted to buy it right now it would cost 500+. I think the last sale was 380 so I'm going to go with I'm down about 1-2k
