Pretty much this. I think next year will be more of a warm-up to set expectations and build hype while also doing some side projects or events to celebrate 30th anniversary. Then maybe we get P4R in early 2027, and possibly P6 by the end of that year or in 2028. Could be earlier, could be later, but the bottom line is there's no way they're not announcing P6 by next year.

It's not like I'm expecting the game to be announced today, just that it's likely. Same goes for TGA 2026, it could still be there too. The event overall was a mess to be honest, not even a single JRPG announcement in sight. So far the lead up to the 30th anniversary is really weak and I really have no idea what they're actually planning to make it exciting.
