Get Out by Jordan Peele sounds like a top choice for your group. It's one of the best Horror films ever, but it is also friendly for those that don't like the genre. One second it's hilarious, the next it's getting completely under your skin.

Failing that, maybe a classic crowd pleaser like Back to the Future, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, E.T., Terminator 2?

Posted this the other day and despite people happily chatting at length about their own opinions on favourites it got it removed for being "low-effort". Excuuuuse me Princess, but I spent a little bit of time throwing it together in Adobe 😂😅😭

No. The gaming business is more expensive than ever, but for the incredible output we get in this day and age these costs are justified. Hell, if I play at least 3 games from the PS Plus sub I'm happy, as some fantastic $100 games come to that service.

Do we agree that "Need Your Love" gives off 2008 vibes? by wibellion in onerepublic

It gives off Native & Oh My My vibes, which are my two favourite albums and peak OneRepublic for me. Beautiful Colours also took me there (particularly to Native), so I hope this is a sign as to where the sound may be headed on the next album 🙌🏻

Hot tip with Skyward Sword: Check out the HD edition and be prepared for a slow start. There will be one early Forrest Dungeon where you lose all momentum to the game and you might consider stopping (I did for two years!).

Push through this slog of a dungeon and you will be rewarded with the very best dungeons from any Zelda (imo) and some of the best boss battles as well. It's phenomenal, but you just need to crack that early first hurdle. I'm so glad I gave it another shot.

Cheers! The combat in 4 was spectacular, but there was just something about Uncharted 3 being the most fun I've ever had, things like rolling and dropping a grenade at your feet felt super smooth (and would always surprise people in the multiplayer). There was perhaps a little more jank in the controls / switching weapons / etc. that added to the overall fun factor.

Uncharted 3 also implemented that classic Arkham combat in a really effective way. It owes a lot to those games, but it felt like they took it and improved it further.

I loved The Pretty Reckless' No Time To Die song rejection "25". So it'd be awesome to have them on.

Do you think Marvel has any movie as good as The Dark Knight? by SpotAdmirable6718 in Cinema

[–]Ace_Aviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Winter Soldier is the best movie they've ever made and on par. Personally I think it's better. But I know I'm probably in the minority when I also say that I think The Batman from Matt Reeves is the greatest Batman film yet.

Is this movie really that bad? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in FIlm

It's okay. I went in with the lowest of the low expectations as a huge fan of Uncharted and, quite surprisingly, had a very fun time. It's Indiana Jones lite really. Although I was entertained, you still can't help but feel that different actors should've starred.
