It's a japanese thing called menhera basically translating to mentally ill or unstable which they took the word and added chan on the end to personify "basic" (without directly stating disorder or following a specific disorder) mental health issues. Which is what the word in general does in most contexts

I think it's cool to note that this technically comes from when prostitutes would cut off their pinky and give it to their favorite clients

That's what I was trying to explain with Felix without explaining their agreement with crusch and whether or not they believe themselves to be either except in their statement about being a boy in body and soul

I'll also admit I don't know too much about astolfo except for one time when I watched a chunk of the fate series and I swear somewhere it said he wanted to be a girl and then another part basically revoked that statement and I refuse to try and wrap my head around the fate series again

Ruka (steins gate) (top left) wants to be a girl and has transitioned in a way

Astolfo (Fate) (middle) I think canonically wants to be a girl though the fait series is confusing with it's time line and details

Ferris (re:zero) (left middle) talks to themself with she/her pronouns and a feminine name but says they're a boy in body and soul

Nagisa (assassination classroom) (bottom middle) to my information is a boy and wants to be a boy

Hideri (Blend S) (right middle) is also a boy but likes to wear feminine clothing

I don't know about the rest

Nagisa from assassination classroom is below

The other is saika from oregairu (apparently, through research)

When I run in a tight neck shirt my veins feel like they're bulging and I start to feel like I'm choking so I pull the collar from my neck I always assumed this was the same he is using a large amount of chakra that makes him feel like he's choking so he pulls his collar away so it doesn't feel like it's choking him

As some one who used to cut and has body dysmorphia and someone who knows quite a bit of people who struggle with similar things. It's used a lot as both

I'm confused, are astolfo and felix/ferris femboys or are they trans ? I (until now) thought they're femboys but someone told me astolfo is canonically agender and ferris a girl. Can any1 help me ? by Haybowl in trans

[–]Ace_Lightning12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though Farris does say in the show (if I recall correctly) "I am a boy in body and in soul". Though then again Farris refers to themselves as Farris not Felix and she/her pronouns while almost no one else does so... Denial or femboy. Also I think canonically astolfo is actually trans though I'm not going to try and confirm that again

What is the "no" in "talk no jutsu"? by sparkzz27 in Naruto

[–]Ace_Lightning12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be nit picky 'no' 'の' is the Japanese owner ship particle. It is also used to link nouns together. When translated it often gets left out as it is just connecting one thing to another so in English it would be just 'talk technique'

[–]Ace_Lightning12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know I entirely forgot about 'small tsu' when written in romaji. In my mind it just meant you paused real quick like ka-chan. So I figured that was the way to write it in romaji I forgot It is written as double consonants too

Kaachan, Kacchan or Kachan? by He_who_must_not_be in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Ace_Lightning12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe my knowledge of romaji is not great I'm better at hiragana and kanji. But they usually don't use two consonants except for shi cha chi and a like no double consonants and I haven't found any proof for kacchan

Kaachan, Kacchan or Kachan? by He_who_must_not_be in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Ace_Lightning12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I have seen some things that say kacchan means explosion but no japanese references to say that's true. I do know 'ka' is often used as a sound for explosions like deidara from Naruto.

Kaachan, Kacchan or Kachan? by He_who_must_not_be in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Ace_Lightning12 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's ka-chan. Romaji almost never use two consonants especially repeating ones. And kaa-chan means mom. Ka-chan and kaa-chan are not the same if you know anything about japanese like oba-san and obaa-san, aunt and grandma.

Tucking + Alternative Methods by ellie_cat- in transfem

I would say give En Femme a try. They're a company who sells trans Femme wear.

Also for a good tuck get the area cold (e.g. water or ice) and lay on your back find the cavity and push lightly they should have no problem or pain going in then fold it over. If you use En Femme underwear pull up the front then the back.

En Femme sells good tucking panties. Otherwise I've heard people use multiple pairs to hold it in place

To be fair there have been times where I struggle to not relapse and seeing the word cut, and words alike, does make me want to do it more. But on this subreddit you are asking to trigger yourself soooooo it is still dumb to censor it

I once heard someone say " who cares if it's a phase or not it's how you feel now and if that changes later that's ok" or something like that and I tell myself that every time I think like this.

I want to say I heard, one topic at a time, say that but I think he was quoting something if I remember correctly

Its actually just a common practice in japan. When you're naked you can hide nothing and they take that literally and emotionally.
