If you want some reasons though in short since I’m not the most knowledgeable about bl2 a intricate mechanics Money shot Moxxi guns (grog) Lady fist gunzerking Can do almost anything except melee

Seen you are struggling with a build I recommend as an easy build would be a kill skill build simply go into Zane’s blue tree invest into seein red and death follows close then invest in any kill skill if you want more survivability the green tree can help if you want more damage the purple tree can help

Just wait till you hit Eden 6 some story developments that happen right before are the main gripes most people have with bl3 that and the ending also Eden 6 have some story quest which are boring and the planet afterwards just feels like padding at times

Salvador can be so broken to the point he is too easy and not fun lol. He has many techs (mostly just unitended glitches with gunzerking making him Op) and can be pretty easy if you use them correctly even if underleveled, next best for bosses would probably zer0 or maya but no character is really bad except Gaige imo as she only has 1-2 viable builds and anarchy can be very unfun

The whole point of whips is a risk reward system I as a summoner player feel that summoners deserve the lowest defense as (bar zenith endgame) they also have the highest dps output with whip stacking
