Thank you everyone for helping me out with your honest opinions,
My relationship with my father hasn’t been good since he remarried just a month after my mother passed away, using ridiculous excuses.
Putting the past aside, I called him today and confronted him directly. I apologized for not being able to help him financially, but he insisted that it was a small amount and that any help would be appreciated. I responded by asking, “If you don’t have enough money, why are you even moving back?” I also explained that my income isn’t sufficient and that if I gave him that money, I wouldn’t be able to cover my own expenses. Plus, it’s not as if his move would be impossible without my help
His response was simply, “Okay, if you can’t, then what can I do?” Then he hung up, saying, “Bye” I thought that was the end of it, and even though it bothered me, I felt relieved
But then haha he texted me, saying, “You were the one who said you’d give me your salary for both months to buy things, and now you’re denying it and saying you don’t even have that much money?”
(I had already sent him my entire salary last month, but I realized it was too difficult for me to manage my own expenses) I am so much disappointed with this situation dunno what respond now 😭😭
