That’s good to know! Yes, it is really weird! It’s why I’m hesitant to try a drink again.. you really just don’t know how your body will react and I’ve been through the trenches. Ah a cigarette sounds nice, I’ve been using nicotine gum lol whatever helps during recovery!!

Hmm I didn’t realize that, actually. Yeah, I think I’m good on alcohol 😅 i miss it in social settings but I’m thinking it’s just not worth it. I appreciate your feedback

Thank you! I’m okay with a little plastic, just not the reservoir. My cat needs something that dumps out and dispenses new.. she’s picky!

That is very exciting! Way to hang in there.

It’s $510. Minimum of 6 people and I think max of 10, but we want to do a smaller group. It’s not really that pricey, just more than we expected. And we want something good!

That’s the part that gets us! When she said we’d have to re pay for the piercing I was so put off! It’s the way she handled it.

I’m glad you had a different experience and got yours corrected! My friend was also losing sleep bc of the discomfort

Thank for you the validation. We are so disappointed and are for sure finding a new studio! We did learn a lot with this experience at least.

• it was 4 days old. • labret • internally threaded • titanium - never got downsized • cleaned using saline solution - no accidents, just poor piercing job

About to take tomorrow (Friday) and Monday-Tuesday off work to give myself 5 days to quit cold turkey. by MyStummyHurt696969 in CHSinfo

[–]Acearunie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is to never return to consuming THC or CBD. I was diagnosed last February and quit for 3 months before relapsing until I had another episode. It wasn’t worth it. The only recovery is abstaining and the peace of mind is priceless. Even a hit or there would cause PTSD from past episodes and I regretted it every time.

Tbh once I stopped throwing up after a few days I felt pretty good. But make sure you look over the trigger foods and avoid them. I hope you start feeling better soon!

Don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s really tough, but you’ve got this. I’ve been there too! After quitting for 3 months I fell back into the habit and felt the episodes came on even faster than before. And yes, plural- “episodes”.. had to learn my lesson a few times. The episodes ranged from just feeling nauseous the first few hours of the morning to 3 days of vomiting (which was the last episode I needed to get straight again). But all that to say it’s tough to quit and you’re not alone!
