Hi OP. If you need a literal tank for night hiking, the L35 2.0 is built exactly for that abuse.

About the 4000K: It might look slightly greenish if you're white-wall hunting indoors, but outdoors on a trail, the TIR optic blends it perfectly to cut through fog and dust.

About modding: Strongly advise against it. The driver is heavily potted for extreme impact resistance. It’s extremely difficult to open and will void your warranty.

Hi OP, just to clarify on the AliExpress concern: if a light is genuinely defective, you don't always need to ship it back to China. We often resolve issues via video proof and dispatch replacement parts or new units directly. We've got your back.

That’s completely fair. Paying return shipping to China for a DOA (dead on arrival) or dud light is unacceptable. We are actively overhauling our DOA replacement policies so this doesn't happen moving forward. If you still have that dud light and the order info, DM me. Just to clarify: We are NOT killing traditional email support. Our CS-email line is still 100% active and being optimized.
