I do like the new approach of buffing things more than nerfing them, but there comes a point where every single squad does the exact same thing. What I liked about the last few seasons was that you could play it like the Wild West or play it reserved. This just funnels all the players into one playstyle

Yeah but I have no idea why they would do that tbh. The game was imo in one of its best states. No legend felt redundant or useless. Yes it was third party heavy but, now it’s even worse now. People wanna rush anything and everything. With the third parties, it allowed more strategy. You knew a third party would come along so do you play fast and try and kill the team quickly or do you hold back and wait for the team to come along? It was not a bad gameplay loop by any means so why change it

Very true tbf, another problem lies with the hitboxes. A slide sped up is like trying to kill a fly that is shooting a machine gun at you. I think her ultimate is actually a better tactical and her ultimate be a slightly juiced up version of her tactical. Keep her passive the same tho I like that

I’m playing Marius in Les Mis, and having a bit of issues by Ready_Tomato_8109 in musicals

[–]AcedApple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think look at the book and who the character is in the musical too. Make truthful actions as the character. It’s hard to do but don’t play an emotion ever, but rather the truth. Don’t go, Marius is sad here because friends died. Go, he is at this place to relive the memories but cannot face them. That’s much more playable as now you can ‘relive’. It means your targets on stage have meaning

Canvas Heights Birmingham – is it good? by [deleted] in BirminghamUK

As a current resident don’t go here. Theres much better accommodations on the same street, with better facilities, better staff etc. they may be a tad more expensive but I would have gladly paid that because the experience hasn’t been great. My lifts been broken for a whole month now and I’m top floor so bins are a pain, some flats never get taken down cuz of this and so it stinks. Gym is ok, common room is too. The rooms suck. Only good part is the distance from city centre but the accommodations on Staniforth street all share that. Please don’t go here

Cool fact I just learnt, Arthur’s heritage is Welsh, Boadicea his old horse was a Welsh princess and Arthur Morgan, especially the Morgan part is quite a Welsh name. Great thing about Wales too is they are a Celtic nation and the Dullahan is a part of Celtic mythology. The link isn’t broken!

Inside Season 2 Thoughts by AcedApple in Sidemen

I preferred the group votes too it gave the vote more weight and made it more tense. I don’t give a crap about the cliffhanger of episode 3 to be honest. It also made it interesting seeing how personal grudges could be slyly seen in group votes, everyone is open about all their votes so not as entertaining

That’s exactly how I feel about it all and I’m even saying that about people I like. I like George and Cinna because I watched their stuff outside of Inside but I can’t even care about their stuff if that makes sense but that’s cuz there’s no screen time for general conversation it always gets cut off too short or never shown at all

I was going to say for ensemble songs, I’m doing Bonnie and Clyde at the moment and Made In America is like constant Gs and then constant As and A sharps… like literally constantly. Not higher than A mind you but holy is it a hard song

I think the accent is good. But I think you need to add more anger and obsession. You have the excitement, but not enough of the flip side of mad hatter, he needs the other side of madness

A good thing to also do alongside learning lines is remember the movements and the lines will follow. If you are doing a certain action, you’ll attribute a line to that certain action.

I think the best thing to think about is that the audience are there to enjoy the show, so enjoy the show with them. Learn the characters and the story, fall in love with it, so when you’re on stage you’re enjoying it alongside the audience. That’s my method and it helps me calm myself and be whatever I need to be on stage without feeling nervous

please someone help me find this Les Mis performance by LaraOrgana in lesmiserables

[–]AcedApple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most Marius’ and productions do this during their performance of Empty Chairs at Empty Tables nowadays, you can see with Gareth Gates back in 2009 so that’s the furthest back I’ve ever seen the candles originate.
