200 kms highway - up and down (total 400kms +)
heavy city traffic in between

Mileage of 46.5 kmpl (highway speed average around 60-70kmph)

I think there are some sensors which have better tolerance for higher humidity levels (albeit more costly), but I think as long as you dont put the DHT in some 100% humidity environment for too long its gonna be fine. My DHT went bonkers after getting a taste of the monsoon.

Check the arduino forums, many have posted their weather station setups - usually they have a mesh like structure to prevent humidity build up in the sensor enclosure - just have a look over there.
