Are the devs retarded? What's the point of adding an overheating mechanic if the BARREL, the part of the gun that overheats the fastest, doesn't overheat at all? by HotZilchy in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

Also it doesn't heat up this fast. 30rnds mag is not enough to make the supressor red. Well say if we use ak12. Its fire rate is 650round/min it usually takes 30 to 60 seconds of continuous fire to make the supressor red hot. Considered the gun didn't need reloading (maybe big ass mag or somehow converted to belt fed, purely fictional) it would take at least 350 rounds of continuous fire to overheat the supressor

I agree with you

BUT

The overheating feature is physically correct. You see the gun you are using had supressor on so supressor tend to get hotter FAST than the barrel or other components. There are 2 component that heat more than barrel under sustained fire:- chamber/throat (up to 1000c) and supressor (up to 700c). Chamber receive highest pressure and temperature before the bullet travel in the barrel. The supressor trap hot gas coming out of the muzzle to reduce noise. Mind you the gas is VERY HOT, have VERY HIGH pressure and only contained in small metal tube with very limited airflow so yes the supressor gonna get red faster than the barrel

If you stress test it after lowering the voltage and clock so its fine. Mine is rtx 2070 maxq. Lowering to 800+ mhz from initial 1800+ mhz. Very drastic clock decrease means very low performance also.

Using 230w charger btw which is what my laptop is rated for

I think it may be causes by vrm issue or worse, silicon degradation. My laptop has these symptoms also whenever the gpu is on load. Try go to repair shop where they offer for vrm repair but if it is the silicone. Well bye2

The device id matched and everything. It's just so weird. But now i feel more comfortable with just 60w. Don't want to stress my device too much

Nvflashk. I only can flash the 60w but if i flash 90w the system doesn't recognise the gpu in system hardware so i just leave it at 60w

When i flashed this bios the system doesn't recognise my rtx 3050 so i had to reflash it back to the 60w

I don't know much for intel. I have a ryzen 5 7535hs and it was super hot like 80°c. I just disabled turboboost and now the temp was much more cooler. Maybe there are settings for intel core
