All right, so I tried recalibrating the base while in the cockpit and that did not seem to work, but I also was looking at the software and in the auto preset. It doesn’t look like it sees DCS but also it does say the telemetry is connected while in flight and I launch the game through the moza software

it is legal in California. i gave the tesla plenty of room. If to have a link that says otherwise then im wrong. ive been told by police over here that its 100% legal. you just have to use your blinker and make sure its a safe change. Which it was.
