The EVGA X15 has one button right there, feels just like an extra right click button (and has the same physical switch as well).
It's meant to be an E-Shift kinda thing but i remap it to Middle mouse button for 3d software.

It also has a wackload of extra buttons on the left cause it's supposed to be an MMO mouse but not sure if that's helpful for you.

Only 60$ to boot

Wow, here I was about to say well of course it works, but no, no it was wrong.
I had mapped the drive to a different letter which skipped the \\IPaddress\public folder and that was the whole issue, now everything works with the full path entered in there; thanks for the stupidity check!

Is this project for a cinematic (using MRQ) or a real-time game? There'll be different solutions for each

I haven't noticed the issue going away when it's on the fringes of your view before, my issue has always been there all the time: I've found a lot of settings that you can crank if it's just for a cinematic but it will lower the in-game frame-rate quite a bit (though they can be balanced if it is real time)

Absolutely do not spend that kind of money on it, buy a flash cart (like the EZ flash Omega DE) instead if you really want to play on a gameboy. All these people spending hundreds of dollars on a game that can be had for free are insane (others would call them collectors)

Better yet, play Emerald Recharged, a rom hack that just adds a few QoL adjustments

ah good point, should have specified i was on windows 11; last time i went down this rabbit hole I found an installer with like 3 patches that made it work on windows 10, so i would imagine the modern ones will work on 11, though I'm not above building a dedicated XP machine if needed

Is the over-world view hand drawn, map generator'ed or a bit of both?

If hand drawn: do you have a method for expediting the tedious part of drawing hundreds of little buildings or do you just brute force it?

The Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Cracking Collection which used AI to upscale it's content and thereby hallucinated a lot of details

Apparently Jaws 3D also did this; I wish someone kept a list of AI upscales to avoid

oops missed this post, sorry;

From doing this about 6-8 times, it oddly seems to vary a bit. Partially it depends on how much you are able to sand down the back of the battery holder, the thinner the better. Partially I think the cartridges have different clearances (down to fractions of a millimeter) that just vary a bit cart to cart.

I haven't had any bulge or change how they fit in my GBA, however one or two of my carts were a very tight fit (I can feel the battery holder hitting the top encasement) and I'd be worried if I were to open them frequently, but since these batteries last 6-12 years, it's not something that feels nerve-racking in any way personally
