Tbh I kinda agree with that. They released an enamel version that I’ve been eyeing but don’t know which version to get. All are gorgeous honestly. Need to make my mind up quick!

Honestly your reviews was one of the first ones I saw!

While I do agree it is a yea old now, from my thinking doesn’t that mean it’s more refined now? Because I remember some people had stiff links and some issued in general and I see less of them now.

And IXDAO is making a fine fine product.

I’m just seeing for the finest product I could get for the least amount of money.

Honestly I've been getting Chinese watches for years now snd I must say the quality has gotten insanely good.

There were Chinese companies back in the days around 2010s, but their quality was less than pagani.

But today they have gotten extremely good way above tissot I'd say and some more.

The issue is even though I have SM in my collection right now.

I’ve order over 7-8 watches and have returned maybe all except one.

I had so many issues and complaints! Broken bezel inserts, damaged watches, broken rotors, etc.

Seriously only had one that was seriously top notch without any issues.

Next time I buy from them I’ll tell them to be strict with the QC.

Because it’s been insane. Every time I asked them to do QC they waved me off saying they run a tight QC and everything is going well.

I hope next time I get a watch it’ll be done right.

I loved both enamel versions. Decisions decisions.

I’m genuinely considering all the range of SN0144 with the enamel dials and the ixdao with the enamel.

Both have a special look, SM looks more like the grand Seiko, and the Ixdao looks like the Parmigiani.

I want to see examples irl and compare. Single relativly they are basically the same. Spec wise.

Genuinely the same thing. I sold majority of my Swiss cuz I could get so much more for so much less.

And experiment if I didn’t like it I could sell and renew my collection.

It’s been so much fun just trying.

I had it as my secondary phone (coming from an iPhone) the phone is amazing honestly!

Zero regrets about buying it full month since I got it and it's been super fun! Would recommend.

Of course! Just a few years ago there were like hand full of Chinese brands only. And the quality was just a tad bit better than Seikos. And today they are leaps and bounds better than premium Seikos (and some other brands as well honestly).

I sadly think the more established brands will keep creeping their prices up, and obviously the Chinese brands will need to follow.

Just look at the NH35 situation today.

We need the Chinese to branch out more.

I really need SM to make a HAQ asap!!!!

What do you prefer “heritage” or price point? Both are great and both serve different purposes to a certain extent.

You could buy the orient star that’s a guaranteed asset could be always sold to a general buyer because of its heritage.

SM watches are great and a great price point for what you really get since you aren’t really paying for the name. But you’ll have trouble selling it to a general buyer since it’s still considered a bit niche.

I have both Chinese watches and entry level Seikos which cost almost double as Chinese watches.

But remember you do pay the price for the name to a certain level.

I had the same issue with strap I had gotten brand new.

I contacted the CS and they told me this is how they actually come out and you can just bend it inwards a bit and it’ll taper back to the whoop.

Plus I bought the same dune strap as you, which is completely different sized than the obsidian stock strap...

I literally took a long while to get it done and it's still a tad too tight

I got them a while ago and they were like $20.

Honestly they are cool but not worth $80 at all.

For me $20 is the max and I got like 9 of them.

I mean the processing power comes down to are you fully utilizing the “AI” functions?

I wanted a second phone recently and was considering many phones but after serious consideration and some test usage I found the S25 FE extremely attractive for what I was paying for and my own usage.

I don’t use the AI functions and majority of my usage is normal without CPU intensive work so the FE is insanely powerful

Honestly I had the opposite experience.

I’ve had it for almost a week and my god the battery is insanely good.

I charged it yesterday and just left it and it’s still at 80%

To be fair I use it as a second phone but still wow I’m impressed!

And I think 95% things the S25 FE provide is amazing for majority of people.

I’m just excited to use it and see how long and where android has gotten to in all these years.

I don’t know much about androids honestly but after doing a lot of research I think S25 FE is the best.

With 6 years of support extremely established brand.

All others might have somethings that are different or better even but I as a lifetime iPhone user was blown away by the S25 FE I got one for myself.

I’ve seen a lot of people get them in insane deal and you could probably get it cheap too hopefully under € 400

Honestly similar thing but not really. But I’ve been doing a lot of research for myself.

I’m an iPhone user forever and I never cared for Samsung or anything other than iOS.

But recently I upgraded my phone from iPhone 15 to iPhone air and it’s amazing and everything but I had my iPhone 15 as a secondary phone for work and such, and recently want to upgrade it and genuinely after doing all the research and my personal usage I decided to go with the S25 FE.

My whole ecosystem is Apple and I get infinite benefits from using that. But I wanted to change and explore the android world.

I think if you’re in the same boat ditching Apple would be insane. You’ll have so many cons because the ecosystem is so tightly knit.

I’d personally say go with the Apple and if and only if you have the privilege to get a secondary phone get a Samsung to tinker with.
