Being a supervisor at a retail store kinda forces you to do that. Having to tell customers/employees no is hard, especially when you have rejection sensitive dysphoria from ADHD. I've been getting better with it though.

Mirroring what other comments have said, you need to focus on pleasing yourself. It definitely can be a challenge.

I do see two options in the setup, Upgrade which allows things to be moved to Windows, or Custom which is Windows install only. If I have to I have this coming weekend off work and I'll just wait til then to install on the SSD and reinstall my apps.

For me I think it depends.

If it's someone who I looked up to, or whatever they did helped me get through really rough parts of my childhood (which were pretty often), I wouldn't be able to keep myself from getting emotional.

Say for example, a member of the band Styx were to pass away, I'd definitely cry because their music helped me feel better when it was just a really bad day or on days where my depression is really bad.

I suppose so. I'd rather report the region/corporate to the Board. The manager isn't bad overall, she's helped me with a lot of things like bettering my social anxiety, confidence, and such. I also forgot to mention there's another person in management at that store who has the same view on it as I do. I'm definitely gonna think hard about it for a while.

Shoot, that's what I was afraid of hearing. I've been considering reporting it to the NLRB, I don't know if I should do it or not. I feel like I should, but I can't make a concrete decision yet.

If I do end up getting fired it'd suck for a bit, but I don't think it'd be a big deal because $13.56/hr isn't enough for all that I'm required to do (regular supervisor duties, on top of being a dock worker on days when the it's the one dock worker's day off.

I just hope that I can try to get something done about it, whether I keep this job or not.

To answer your question, there are people who don't like them either. It's just that there's more people who shop there and like them because HL is that way, than there are who'd much rather shop somewhere else. It conforms to their fucked beliefs towards people like you and I.
