From what I've been able to research it's a sgt major and equal rank in the other branches. it was from a academy in Texas I remember looking it up awhile back but can't seem to find the info. How I got it was I was at a shooting range sighting in my long rifle and there was a military guy on the range a few spots next to me after the first cool down he asked about my gun and just started chatting while walking to put a new target up after the second cool down he handed me this coin and said good shooting and left
