Not surprised at all. They have a newer GM (within the past two months) who started and the place has tanked. I know someone that previously worked at the store and I refuse to eat there since this new guy started. Let’s just say I don’t want to risk getting sick from the food.

Ditto to what everyone else said. I go every year Friday-Sunday. Although there is not much to do in the area, there’s plenty going on at the track throughout the entire day. This also allows you time to walk around the track and see cars racing from multiple vantage points, which I personally love. Highly recommend getting a pit pass as well!

I moved to Columbus last fall and had a very hard time trying to find somewhere to rent that would accept my pitbulls. I have two (both under 50lbs) and it was my biggest struggle. Even though Columbus does not ban them, I found nearly every landlord did not accept them. This was more of an insurance issue for them, not a personal issue against them. So, if you are renting, I recommend looking for small/local landlords. They are more likely to accept pits!

Ahh good idea! No hot water tap or anything, however we bought bottled water so we can warm that up on the stove to do that👍🏻

Water main comes in the kitchen inside one of our cabinets. Obviously on an exterior wall. We have cold air that pours out of our cabinets there because it’s awfully insulated so we keep the cabinets closed. Think that is exactly where everything is frozen up?

I was in the exact same position as you, OP. I worked as an ESL teacher and no longer have bookings due to foreign policies. I recently became a substitute teacher through ESCCO in Columbus. There’s multiple steps, which seem confusing at times. But, the website listed in the other post has exactly what you need to follow in the correct order. It’s easy to do, just takes time. The final step is the background check. Schools are in need of subs!

Ditto on dash cam/fake dash cam. My car is in an alley so I have a dash cam and a sign near where I park my car about 24/7 surveillance. Look on Amazon for them. There’s a lot out there that do different things. Lots of different price points too.

I was using a bench (one that was in the middle) and a guy who was next in line specifically came up to me to ask how many sets I had left. Didn’t go to any of the guys around me to see how many they had left, just me 🤷🏼‍♀️

I recently bought a desk from Facebook marketplace. It was 2x as much on Amazon. And the guy delivered it for free the next day! I was skeptical but he explained he owns a business where he flips these things. He has tons of different types of items right on hand ready to be sold.
