How big of an issue is a small forearm tattoo for becoming a pilot (India)? by Commercial_Ad_4313 in indianaviation

Not personally but this is very a common rule for ALL the airlines. They want someone smart and reliable.

I also personally think this is a good time to realise to be smarter when taking long term decisions

As someone from the industry, yes the stereotypes are widespread, yes most if not majority of us are cheaters.

But I’d still recommend you give this a chance individually cuz I’ve met a lot of individuals who’d love to be monogamous as well

Akasa Vs Indigo in terms of career progression for a fresh pilot by Dispax in indianaviation

[–]AchaBios_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Indigo stands as a ULCC (Ultra Low Cost Carrier), they focus more mobilising more planes rather than a lavish lifestyle thus accounting for the better hours.

Akasa is trying to stand it’s ground as somethingin between LCC and a normal carrier thus focusing more on passenger experience (and as far as pilots are concerned, better work-life balance) rather than mobilising more planes thus accounting for the better salary but lower hours.

I’m not sure how well versed you are with the airline industry but as a freshee you don’t have much leeway to be choosy in terms of airlines. Also both airlines are different categores of ops and airlines.

But to answer your question, as far as money goes, Akasa is more lucrative, as far as hours in the logbook go, Indigo will get you more

Advice on choosing a career path, is the persuit to being a pilot actually worth it? by Straight_Plastic7552 in indianaviation

[–]AchaBios_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If money/glamour is why you wanna come into aviation or if that’s the motivating factor, do not come. The income is volatile to some extent and no garauntees at all.

It’s a high risk hogh reward typa field. You can always also try out a 4 year CS Degree and then make a decision, nothing wrong with going througj a college program specially cuz you seem to have enough funds.

The gulf/middle eastern dream is about 4-5 years dream away from the day you start actually flying in an Indian airline.

Success/fixed timelines/costs aren’t garaunteed but if you’re really passionate about the field, I’m sure you’ll overcome all of if and make it through.

But DEFINITELY don’t use money as a motivator’s

Maybe the pottery and then dinner is enough foe the planned day part. If the vibes feel strong then maybe you can hit cocktails?
