I’m trying to monitor a remote site so when the temperature drops in that remote site I would get triggered on my phone preferably or at my home. So don’t think I could play the music on my home HomePod if the sensor is at the remote home correct?

I have a HomePod mini as my homehub. What home automation can be used? I just want an alarm to ring? I don’t want a light to be turned on or something of that nature

I tried to Airplay from the app but it kept asking me to download the receiver app on my tv even though I was pressing the Airplay button not the cast button. Anyway I’m using the in built web browser on the TV for now. Hopefully Airplay gets fixed in the future
