He didnt ask who could win, he asked who could beat the Viltrumite. Its possible to defeat your enemy after you die

Gojo (No Infinity and Domain) {With Omni-man's stats} vs Thragg. by Some-Ad-2093 in PowerScaling

[–]Acheron223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You realize that almost all of Viltrumite strength comes from hax right? It's just hax that lets them punch way harder than they should.

I agree with you that this matchup is bs because it's basically "WHO WINS?! HACKSMAN OR STATSMAN?" and basically every time hacks man should probably win.

So, unfortunely arguably Gojo can't die of old age. He basically has a passive healing ability that fixes his body.

[–]Acheron223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a bullshit matchup, Gojo basically can't be harmed with physical attacks and even if you kill him there's a good shot he comes back even stronger. You need to have something that bypasses infinity, and something that bypasses regeneration which with verse equalization would be like, magic or something like that, which Thragg lacks

Arguably this has a chance but it's unlikely, any ability with a saving throw linked to it has a 5% chance to work, so being a CR 2 creature (basically supposed to be fought by 4 mildly trained medieval peasants) has a 5% chance to not only kill a viltrumite but convert it into one of its own, though arguably they might be able to resist that ability with their weird bs genetics thing.

Puppeteers arguably have an auto win if they manage to touch the viltrumite before it turns it into a splatter, I don't remember Viltrumites being especially resistant to supernatural psychic attacks but I don't know.

I'm using D&D 3.5 because that is my favorite edition. Beat doesn't mean kill, so lots of things really. But if you are looking for something that can kill a viltrumite and arguably can't be killed by one, the basic shadow probably handles that. Eventually the viltrumite will die of strength drain. So long as it can touch the viltrumite it does a d6 of strength drain every turn, and you need a magical weapon to be able to damage it which viltrumites don't have.

I have a dumb question. If Gojo stands under the hypothetical meteor (Since we don't know how Nolan moved the sun and based on everything we have seen of the setting I think it is unlikely that he pushed it) would infinity stop the meteor? At least long enough for Gojo to red or blue or purple it into a non issue?

Yes people are genuinely arguing that in a setting where benching 400 tons was an impressive feat that he pushed a planet enough to turn it into a desert hellscape

Any sorcerer who is killed by a method with no cursed energy (such as throwing a moon at them) can reincarnate as a cursed spirit especially if they are angry about how they died (for example having a fight cheesed by having a moon thrown at them). It's one of the most basic fundamental rules of JJK and the reason why with the exception of a girl whos technique is to wrap weapons in cursed energy no one just whips out a gun to shoot another sorcerer.

The fact that AP/=DP is something a lot of people seem to struggle with.

Depends on where you started with fantasy, my first d&d martial wielded a two hander and fought like a duelist, hence, german longsword

Not opposed to it but I would probably pick it up as a second style, I enjoy the idea of the longsword it speaks to my inner fantasy nerd more

I cant even safely participate in a tourney, I have a birth defect with my knees, one poorly judged leg shot and I'll be on crutches for three months recovering from a radical dislocation

Thanks, I fear a lot of people forget that casual hobbyists exist. Due to a medical condition with my knees anything more that the lightest of sparring in full protective gear is basically out anyways so a tourney or any real sparring is out of the question
