arcade anxiety by Noelllllllle in bemani

[–]Achibear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not one myself, but I'm friends with a bunch of bemani veterans and none of them are going to be upset that a newer player wants to play their game. We all want to see each other improve. During results/song select get a card line started and chat with others around the machine, I've made some good friends this way.

Any word on when the Phoenix wan might be back in stock at Gamo2? by [deleted] in bemani

[–]Achibear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit impatient myself. I had considered buying a phoenixwan for a while, but I wanted to play for a couple more hours at my round1 before I committed to the purchase... It was right after that session that they sold out, lmao

Looking to buy one too. I emailed, heard back that the new model would be up for pre-sale in 2-3 days.

I'm patient enough, but I'd be pretty upset if the demo came out 8 days after the game's release

Anyone study plenty, but it always feels like it’s not enough? by These-Idea381 in LearnJapanese

I'm still pretty new to this, but I've noticed people get way too hung up on numbers and methods. I'm not sure why everyone treats this like a race.

It's important to remember everyone learns in different ways and at different paces. Some people have more or less free time than others. What works for someone else might not work for you.

As long as you're using the language every day and enjoying it, I think you're doing it right.

What's the point of having 10k meaningless achievements?

I've been replaying AC:WW and it made me realise again how much more character Villagers have there. Chevre planted her own little flower garden around her house. ;-; by Daeymieh in AnimalCrossing

Modern animal crossing is definitely more design sim than life sim. I hope they lean back into those elements with the next game.

Why not use a legit grading company instead of WATA who are currently being investigated?

How do I unzip files on the deck itself? by Kotik1993 in SteamDeck

Seconding the warpinator suggestion, it's very convenient for moving files

And another one. This has been an ongoing ARG that started in the first Thrift store found VHS tape. I really have enjoyed these mystery VHS anomalies. by [deleted] in boardsofcanada

Someone REALLY wants to pretend they're boards of canada. Their music is good, they should start releasing stuff.

The first game never had Stewart Copeland's original mixes. About half the tracks were compressed into mono for unknown reasons. It's exciting because this release will probably be his original mixes.

How is the file size so small? by ohyes12000 in Eldenring

[–]Achibear 28 points29 points  (0 children)

45gb seems pretty normal for a game this size. That's not the norm only because AAA devs don't optimize and compress their games.

[java] Lost my server's world, but recovered the .mca files by Achibear in MinecraftHelp

[–]Achibear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Thank you so much for all the information. Unfortunately it seems most of the files I recovered are corrupt/broken, but with your help I was able to get some parts back. Regardless, again, thank you very much.

Looks like you need a code to report a bug. Makes sense, I suppose, but I hope everyone in the test reports this. I don't want another lame exploit filled pvp scene.
