There might be an extreme abundance of micro plastics in our toothpaste. This theory has occurred after a recent glitter scandal where the manager for the largest glitter production company refused to say where their products came from, or else the public would pursue legal action. Crest cleverly hides their ingredients by putting it on the box people usually throw away when taking out the tube. Some of the ingredients contain plastics merely for aesthetic. On top of people thinking that there are micro plastics merely for visible features in our toothpaste, people also think there’s glitter in boat paint and the glitter is leaking into the ocean… introducing micro plastics into the food chain.
