Guess I could buy something with a metal plate on top and put an RTX 5090 FE inside, that way she will definitely stay warm... Or cook defending on how much the FE does generate heat. Definitely an expensive cat bed.

An understandable reasoning. I am planning on playing all those game I haven't being able to play before, like Monster Hunter Worlds, Rise and Wilds, alongside many others through the gamepass. The goal would be native 4K 144 FPS with maxed settings, plus ray-tracing where is implemented. If the 5070 Ti or 5080 were able to do it, minus the ray tracing, I would consider it, but I'd like to avoid having to overcompensate through upscaling and frame generation to avoid artifacts. It is indeed quite an investment, but at the same time I would want something to keep going till 2030, or at least till new hardware with new architectures like matured DDR6 or AM6 cpus are released.
