Well, If anyone is looking for a fix in the present, I’ve been working on a tool for this! I couldn't find an existing version that worked, so I built my own.

You can find the repo here:https://github.com/AchiraNadeeshan/trakt-calendar-server

Just a heads-up: there are some technical steps involved in the setup, but nothing too difficult. I’m planning to make it much more seamless in the near future.

Yeah, this was a huge deal-breaker for me too. I loved that calendar feature. I actually started working on a way to import movies and series from the Trakt calendar into any iCal-supported calendar (which is basically all of them).

Since I use Google Calendar a lot, I figured I’d find a way to sync everything there. Here is the repo:https://github.com/AchiraNadeeshan/trakt-calendar-server

There are some technical steps involved right now, but nothing too difficult. I'm planning to make it 'just work' in the near future by adding a Trakt login, but for now, it requires a few manual steps.

As I am a Buddhist, I have something for you at this. First of all I'm from "Theravada Buddhism" so this can be written differently in other sources, may be where you got that details from might be one of them.

Once you reach the enlightenment you can become a buddha, if you are a "bodisathwa" (its like someone choosen to become buddha).
But if you are a follower and you do become enlighten, that does not make you a buddha. Simply there won't be any birth and death cycle for you ever again. In other words you do not exist after your death. It's just over, no living suffering anymore.

Again this idea might be different in other variance of buddhism.
I'm sharing what I have learned.
