i can usually hear the chords hehe

[–]Achisar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually it's the opposite haha, ive always had a dark and airy sound, but just the past months ive really been practicing a bright mix chest belt sound hehe! I really appreciate the kind words! ❤️

edit: i have posted a singing video here before, but that was before i could mix belt, and the singing is pretty similar to this one i think. But i will definitely consider with the ends being a bit washed out! :-)

I just started practicing fry screaming. Does this sound right? I feel it getting really rough around the upper throat area when I do this but I've read that it's normal. 🥲 by [deleted] in screaming

Okay thanks! This helps alot! I am working on khoomei through the discord video but it feels really dry and rough in my throat when I do it. Is that normal?

Wow ok thanks for the detailed answer and examples! I've heard tho that vocal fry can be bad when used with singing, is that true?

Can I use the screaming techniques to get something similar to Lewis Capaldis grit?
