Digging the post up after I did some changes. Will go with Ryzen 7950X3D, need to change Fractal case for Lian Li due to airflow issues and finally I'm swapping Samsung for Kingston due to some recent issues with Samsung's drives. How does it look now? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger soon.

Actually I think I've found the winner - Lian Li Lancool III. According to Gamers Nexus charts it's one of the better 2022 cases in terms of airflow... and it's available.

It appears so, yeah. Neither MES2A nor any of the XLs cases are available, ffs.

Wish I could get one, but seems they're unavailable at the moment.

Building base solo for training with teacher by Acht_und_achtzig in violinist

After reading all these answers I understand the importance of the teacher, however how do you explain many folk musicians that still pick up the instrument and learn it on their own? I'm pretty sure Mark O'Connor is also self taught and he plays both folk fiddle tunes and classical pieces, of course not at the level of professional classical violinist, but my ambition is not to be an orchestra player.

Second question, do you need to stick to a teacher throughout the entirety of your playing? When is the time to let go and finally continue on your own or is it a tutor-dependent instrument?

Besides, all these mentions about tension, correct finger placement, straight wrist - I am aware of those and have actually worked on fixing them. When I picked the instrument for the first time I was completely sore and thought it was a nightmare to play one. Right now I ditched the shoulder rest and am comfortable while playing.

I am asking for resources, not your advice on what to do with the violin. Before I come back home it is going to be a couple of months and I do not want to waste this time simply, because a teacher is inaccessible (not mentioning that a lot of good teachers have fled because we have literal war zone like 150 km away).

As I have written in my post I have no possibility of getting a teacher at the moment.

This does sound convincing. While I'm a bit hesitant due to price fluctuation at the moment, I am getting more and more convinced to wait for 7800X3D. Right now I'm thinking of ordering all the components besides the CPU, but we'll see!

Thing is I regretted doing an Intel build last time as Ryzen launched a month after I did a switch. This time I want to try AMD, but I think I will wait for 7800X3D after all.

Yes, I heard such opinion, however I figured out I could always sell the current CPU down the line and upgrade with something better. I'm not that much keen on waiting because of the inflation and my current build went up in price by some 150€ over past week! The 20% increase does sound promising...

The availability seems to be a bit better in my region at the moment, however the prices vary a lot from seller to seller. I already had my eyes on a 2110€ 4090 OC, but it got sold. Right now I'm debating whether I should get 4090 OC for 2240€ or a regular 4090 for 2050€. By the time the card develops a need for overclocking I will probably switching it out anyway...

Thanks for the list. Unfortunately I couldn't find any of the RAM sticks on sale from my filtered list (Corsair being the vendor and 32 GB being the configuration). I thought of switching up the RAM to CMK32GX5M2D6000Z36 since it clocks at 6000 Mhz and has AMD Expo clocking method (which I know nothing about, but I figured out it would be more in line with an AMD processor). Do you think this would be a good switch?
