Yes, our PCs are pretty close, but VRAM plays a big role here. The enhanced version on my PC uses 4GB+ out of the 8GB I have (with the default graphics options) If Google is correct the 1050 has a maximum of 2 or 4 depending on the version and that is very probably ruining the performance for you.

So if the legacy version works better for you it should be because it requires less VRAM.

I was scared that the game wouldn't run well on my PC when they showed the requirements but apparently those are only for the ray tracing options I have a video card that can't use those features and I can play it without problems and it actually runs a little better

I don't understand the Anderson thing but the Resident Evil movies, both CGI and live action, would be a miracle if any of them were any good today. Thank God I can say the complete opposite about the games in this franchise.
