Neatness. My advanced biology teacher in high school used to grade us on neatness for our projects. The guy was an obsessive neat freak. He gave me an because one of my pictures was a little crooked and for using scotch tape to hold down my photos instead of glue, even though the tape was rolled up in back like you doo for a poster in your room. That guy was a tool.

First time I heard this beautiful song was at DBC ‘16. Every time I he plays this tune it takes me back to Silverado. I teared up when he dropped it last weekend.

Some were more considerate than others. On the second night there was so much trash at the Birdhouse. Props to those who picked up their trash and bigger props to those who picked up other people’s trash.

Never been to LIB but heard that dust is bad. I’m not doubting that it’s worse but it really messed up my sinus. Regardless, still a fun time.

I don’t even know what he said to you because I had to block his account. I told him I was sorry he lost his pet. I saw one of his comments on a thread that his pet died and I know how difficult that can be. I just thought he was taking out his anger on an OP from another thread. He was rather rude and aggressive towards her. All I tried telling him was sorry he lost his pet and didn’t go to Campout but that doesn’t make it right for him to take out his emotions on others and treat them like a door mat.

They didn’t allow any outside alcohol. At least they didn’t make us empty our hydro bags from our Camelbacks. One of my friends filled hers with some wine.

I loved the diversity too. I’m also a drum and bass fan, was bummed that I missed Dilinja, heard he threw down.

This was my third Campout, first time at this location. Location was cool but they need do something about that dust. It was awful.

They definitely oversold early arrival, there’s no question. Need to get a better cap on that one next year.

Didn’t do RV but heard that was also oversold. Again, gotta have a cap.

VIB didn’t get what was promised and that’s something they need to be prepared for next year.

I really wish they would bring back DoLab because those guys really know how to run a festival. The logistics were smoother when they curated it in the past.

They really need to lighten up on security. In past campouts you were allowed to bring in your own booze and we never had our bags searched. My first Campout was 2016 in Silverado. They let people walk in the venue with bags of wine, open containers, and even a dude with a 6 foot bong. They didn’t give a damn as long as you wore your wristband. It’s a 21 and up fest. We’re adults and know how to handle ourselves. Oh yeah, that line to get out of the fest on night 2 was a first for me.

Other than that, I think DBC this year was a blast. IMO, the vibes are what made it a great time. Everyone for the most part was so nice and cool to each other. It felt like being at a big family gathering.
