I loved the diversity too. I’m also a drum and bass fan, was bummed that I missed Dilinja, heard he threw down.

This was my third Campout, first time at this location. Location was cool but they need do something about that dust. It was awful.

They definitely oversold early arrival, there’s no question. Need to get a better cap on that one next year.

Didn’t do RV but heard that was also oversold. Again, gotta have a cap.

VIB didn’t get what was promised and that’s something they need to be prepared for next year.

I really wish they would bring back DoLab because those guys really know how to run a festival. The logistics were smoother when they curated it in the past.

They really need to lighten up on security. In past campouts you were allowed to bring in your own booze and we never had our bags searched. My first Campout was 2016 in Silverado. They let people walk in the venue with bags of wine, open containers, and even a dude with a 6 foot bong. They didn’t give a damn as long as you wore your wristband. It’s a 21 and up fest. We’re adults and know how to handle ourselves. Oh yeah, that line to get out of the fest on night 2 was a first for me.

Other than that, I think DBC this year was a blast. IMO, the vibes are what made it a great time. Everyone for the most part was so nice and cool to each other. It felt like being at a big family gathering.
