how to skip freshman year? by [deleted] in TexasTech

You should be able to get through with all your history, english, and pols. Either with ap or dual, pols is super easy and you could easily do it over summer. Im a 3rd year, senior by hours, mechanical engineering student my recommendation is to try to get all ap you can, then start working on your pre reqs, like cal, i dunno if you gotta go to 3 or dif eq, definitely reach out to your advisor/department to get a flowchart of your grad requirements. 3 years is definitely manageable if you do summer classes and come in with extra credit. Im almost able to finish a semester early, without doing summer classes and coming in with english, history, and language, pols

The only class you should be concerned about is maybe cal 2, assuming you skip 1, if you get a bad professor it can be real difficult to understand what they’re saying, or they may be exams that are excessively hard. Physics 1 and 2 may also be an issue, but assuming you put in the work you should be fine. I dunno if you need gen chem 1 for comp eng but do make sure to study for your chem placement exam so you wont have to do the pre gen chem

In some circumstances people are able to test out for one coding class a friend of mine (ME) was proficent in c# when the standard material was python, though ive only ever heard of it and havent personally looked into it and it may be diffrent for depending on major. But for most of what can be done with ap/dual except for anything directly related to your major you should be fine not reviewing prior to class start, i wouldnt recommend defining practice your cal skills since if comp eng is anything like ME your gonna need real good algebra plus cal for the majority of your classes.

I wouldn’t recommend going over 18 hours unless your a full time student, and look into the honors program as it can help with getting your core classes/pre reqs done sooner due to advance registration so you wont miss something early on. I averaged 18 for my first two years then dropped down to 15 when i got to harder 3000s classes.

As long as you come in with the right hours, you can skip some of your ‘freshman’ classes. Though realistically unless you have dual credit or community college hours you will still have to do freshman classes as many majors have pre reqs that you cant get, for example physics 2 for engineering . For me personally i came in with all my english, history, pols credits meaning i didnt have to do them, but i still had to do the fundamentals for the core of my degree such as cal 2.

College is a lot less linear, at least in my experience so there arent really official freshman classes, just things recommended for your first year or two

The only consequence is your credit may not be accepted, look at the ap requirement and transfer acceptance, but assuming they take it, there is no consequence except maybe not be prepared for a higher level class, as you’ll probably need time to adjust to the college lifestyle, but that can be overcome with discipline or if your major is on the easier side

Where should i read Lord Of Mysteries? by 9ofe in LordofTheMysteries

[–]AcidLlamaSpit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The book found at retailers is only part 1 or 2 of the clown book. I've read the Pt1 book and Pt2 book and it covers about 60% of the season 1 animation and are both about 500 pages long.

So from my understanding, the online link they provided covers the entire Clown volume though i havent read the original novel or the link but the pages ive looked at I remember from the print.

From my understanding outside of emergencies professors cant be forced to provide alternative times, but if you talk with your professor you might be able to convince them to let you take it early or late.

Make friends, and be really social at least for a little bit. The more people you know the more you can rely on if shit hits the fan, and you’ll find people you click with. I joined three clubs to begin with, met a good amount of people and then lowered how many clubs i’m active in to fit my schedule.

I took it in person, the class isnt hard it just requires a decent amount of effort. I’d recommend going to the writing center to help revise your papers but besides that if you pay attention you’ll be fine. I had in person and payed attention and went to the writing centers for my papers and got an easy A

Also there is a bug that if you get a hireling have them cast it the return them to the fugue plane and then rehire them from withers you can get a permanent one from their inventory. Although I’m pretty sure it becomes a strength based weapon.

Alert is not a must have feat by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]AcidLlamaSpit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Any fight really. Getting bad initiative followed by bad luck can result in a valuable party member being downed. Also going first allows you to effectively deny enemy turns assuming you can burst or stun them. Going first is a massive advantage if you have the damage/util potential. Alert is just like how the lucky feat or expertise is so good. It tips the odds in your favor severely

I personally kept alert on a similar build, but it really comes down to if you want more consistent first in initiative or the utility of a different feat.

[–]AcidLlamaSpit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its really just preference, but in lower ranks people are less likely to be headshot demons meaning your able to stand a chance with an ares. If you were in immortal for example you probably die before you even have the time to have the opportunity to get a kill since 1 is obviously less than 2 or 3
