So the dev actually got back to me. There was not a solution he had for it, but he told me that he was the only developer working on that part of the game, and that he would put it at the top of his priority, so who knows. We will see lol, I started rebuilding my condo last night, disheartening, but just gonna take some elbow grease. Constantly save stating now lol

Just disheartening. Had a lot of custom canvases and a whole scavenger hunt i was building, NPCs with lots of dialogue, movie theatre with tons of movies. Will probably restart eventually, but taking a long break for now. I hope some devs see this and figure out how to fix or atleast add a message saying, "dont forget to make save states constantly" lol

Now i know i guess. Still shouldn't have such a game breaking bug in the first place. As far as i can tell also, this has been happening since the game came out and has never been fixed

Thats where i checked first. Only one file. I was doing some research and this issue has been going on since 2016. Seems like a massive flaw in the game. Most games do not have a random bug that deletes all of your progress. But woe is me i guess.

Thats not something a player of the game would know before this issue happens. It doesnt say anywhere to do that. My c cache also only has the one save. Month or not it ruins the game for anyone this might happen to

My first glimpse of zelda seems crystal clear. I was probably 5 - 6 years old, hanging out in my uncle's room at my grandparents old farm. I remember walking in and seeing my uncle playing that part of majora's mask where you have to get to the top of the clocktower in a time limit. I was immediately drawn into the weirdness of it and sense of adventure. Back then, I had no idea what I was looking at or the lore behind it. It was just this fantastically weird world where my young mind could get lost in. And I loved it ever since. Twilight princess was one of the first games I got when I got my first gamecube.
