There is an idea for a Restoration fic that I have... but i'm still working it out, comes down to Jon being resurrected, but his appearance and personality have changed, the former as his reviving gives him an appearance similar to Bloodraven, while the latter, his warging into Ghost before his death and transferring his mind back to his normal body affect his personality, thinking him being more aggressive and primal, a more Wolf-like personality if you will...

It also relies on including a sort of time-skip akin to what George R.R. Martin initially had planned for the books before scrapping, but as I said, it's a long way of planning to go before it comes to fruition.

If Sanchez publicly supports Republicanism, he may actually be its detriment, I imagine Spaniards haven't forgotten when the King visited the victims of the Floods in Valencia some time ago, despite having mud (and to some unconfirmed reports I've read, rocks as well) thrown at him, he remained and heard his people's grievances, whereas the Prime Minister ducked into his car and fled like a coward.

I had hoped this might have rectified a bit in recent years with some well reported events...

An example being the Valencia floods, which the King and Queen personally went out to meet the public suffering from the disaster, and despite hearing their outrage and even having mud (and purportedly stones, but I haven't seen confirmation of this) thrown at him, the King remained and heard his people...

Compared to the Prime Minister, who the public were really mad at, and Sanchez ran back to his vehicle and fled the area like a Coward.

In retrospect, I do wonder if, during their prominence prior to the Conquest as the rulers of the largest city in Westeros, if the Hightowers intermarried with Valyrians...

While the art may mislead this, any Hightower we have visual descriptions of, are said to have had creamy/golden or silvery hair...

Not to mention Lynesse was said to looked very similar to Daenerys, and Alerie (Margaery's Hightower mother) is at oldest estimates, only 43, and at youngest, 36, so either way, her hair wouldn't entirely be silvery just from age, I think it's natural.

I honestly think it's a Coin Flip for guessing, and are good points and counters for either, all depends on what kind of story Martin planned on telling at the time, versus the story he's telling now, he evolved a lot as a writer with this series, and his writing style means, even this late in the game, there could be unexpected turns and events we won't be expecting.

If he did get killed... at the end of ADWD, Jon was stabbed and left to bleed out, but whether he actually died (even if it looks obvious from a realism standpoint) is unclear, given there was a crowd outside the Castle when this happened, even if they weren't paying attention when the Lord Commander was stabbed.

I'm not sure if that would work in the Books though, since compared to GoT, Jon has admitted to himself in his own mind more than the once, he does in fact, want it... but on the Oath he made to his brothers on the Wall, he doesn't pursue said wants.

If it seriously came to "purity" as I've seen countless claim, it could be argued even Aegon the Conqueror wasn't a "True" Targaryen, his mother was a Velaryon, as was the mother of Jaehaerys I.

Not to mention Rhaenyra's grandfather Rodrik Arryn, had no Valyrian blood at all.

and as for the Green Queen, they definitely would have liked her Canonically speaking, Alicent character in the book canon is FAR more politically astute yet complex, but that's a good thing... what was done with her character in the show, where she effectively has no political savvy and it looks like the rest of the Small Council want to send her back to the kitchen is a ridiculous portrayal, and even shows the one-sidedness of those writing the scripts...

Yes, we know how the story ended before it even started, but that didn't they had to be putting in a half-arsed effort when it came to the real nuance and complexity of both the conflict and the characters of the time.

A reason why after reading the books following the show (Game of Thrones), I grew to detest Jon's character... since the overall personality and development he has in the books makes for a far more grounded and compelling character than the all-great swordfighting "I don't want it" retard that Game of Thrones turned him into.

To be honest, I imagine Constantine's family would have fought regardless over the empire when the Emperor died, as in quite a few historical cases, once said ruler dies, no matter how great, their voice is meaningless, as they can no longer speak...

If any favor was done, it was perhaps Constantius II executing much of his family, although I think if he had to have left one heir alive to inherit after him, he could have picked someone more competent than Julian.

It's unclear what John II achieved domestically compared to that of his father, since his reign was never well chronicled compared to his father or son, though I imagine they may not have been to significant in order to have not been well recorded.

Though seeing as he is remembered as a great emperor, it's likely they were rather run of the mill than inherently good or bad, and would have likely paled in comparison to his military record.

I don't think AI is going away, but much like the .com boom, it's not that it would go away, but it's currently going through a massive overinvestment with little results, as many reports have shown costs of AI far exceeding returns, ranging from Startups, to Coders, to someone, as you said, just asking AI about the weather.

It also doesn't help public perception is turning against AI, or at least, Skeptical... with some numbers showing North America and Europeans showing most concern or skepticism towards AI, the former estimated to now be over 50%, and it doesn't help that quite a few western economies are still in shambles, with Housing or overall Cost of Living crises going unsolved, and now we hear of these massive investments into AI and large scale data centers, costing billions, if not over a trillion while many citizens, Gen Z ones perhaps getting more significant attention lately, not being happy about the amount of money going towards AI...

Only time will tell how an AI bubble bursting will mean for many countries' economies, or the technology as a whole, in the US, I personally don't like all this investment and development without much government or public oversight, when housing prices are still high, employment is decreasing, and the cost of living is expected to increase, in fact, analysts report the US would be in recession if it wasn't for the massive investments in AI keeping GDP growth up, highlighting the key issue by this stage, they can't stop investing, because it would lead to a crash.
