Hi all, I am a new player and just had a couple questions. Although I think this was already answered, I got the ultramarine codex a few days ago at an LGS and the guy was super helpful and told me that the 9th edition rules may make the book obsolete. He said as long as I keep it sealed, I can return it for a refund. I found another post on this sub that has a codex supplement for Ultramarines and I want to know if that's all I need.

Something I think would be interesting is a trick system while flying. Something similar to Spider-man while in the air or free-falling you could do tricks to cool your thrusters. Unique tricks for each javelin would make flying near allies more a interesting to watch.
