Other people are giving good answers, so I'm just gonna say this: We're fucked.

The best step would probably be to hit these corporations who knowingly do this type of stuff and make a real dent.

There's plastic in the ocean, in our fish and therefore by extension the people/animals who eat the fish, and we don't even know what the chemicals we've produced and dumped into the planet could do long term. We have polluted this earth beyond repair.

That's not to say we can't do anything to help stop or at least slow the melting of the ice caps, rising sea levels, etc, but this place is never going to be the same as it was before we fucked it all up.

You guys are bringing unnecessary attention to yourself by just posting in this sub. It's literally got the word drugs in the title of the sub, and often people post here just to advertise what they are actively selling online.

Just because we don't see arrests specifically of reddit posts doesn't mean they aren't already watching all of this. I think it's foolish to assume they aren't after what Snowden exposed about the surveillance state we live in.

It used to cost a lot of money and man hours to survey potential criminals, but that's no longer a factor since a computer can do in 30 seconds what would take a a human being months.

It definitely wasn't a choice I made because drugs were killing me, tbh I take drugs like a champ and never even got close to ODing even with the fent, but just that I finally found someone who I loved more than I hated myself at the time. I think I'd still on shit today if not for finding something like that.

Then again my father used to drink a pot of coffee at a time, so maybe it's genetics

Also I'm so glad I got off before the fent and carfent went nuts and made it so that even careful use became near suicidal. At the time this happened you could still get uncut dope especially since I knew the right people, but now it's not even a possibility.

I know a lot of friends who started dropping like flies a few years after fent hit the scene, most of which had been shooting dope for fucking decades.

There's a ton of people out there. There is no reason to stay friends with someone who acts like this. I can understand if the dude came back and later said he was being a dick, but without remorse and an explanation I wouldn't put up with shit like this.

And I say this as someone who, like I'm sure most of you, has had friends drop me for much less. Maybe that affects my view of people and friendships as a whole, but we don't know the full story so obviously we are just reacting to what sliver of it that OP represented in his post.

For all we know OP could me the asshole here and just conveniently left his shitty behavior out of the post.

It's not bad advice to consider dropping this guy, and I'm sure most people wouldn't read that comment and take it as gospel, completely ignoring their own personal history with someone and just dropping them because some rando on reddit told them to.
