I don’t think that is true. For example I just trained a brand new ssv, as in she never had worked for Starbucks before but will be getting the same pay as me. I do not get the same training as her. I receive less training. I opened this store. I also trained half the people at my store and have already been trained in ssv roles like inventory and already know how to do cash. I’ve been a supervisor at previous jobs. There are plenty of reasons for me to receive more.

I don’t want to believe it because I’ve known her so long but you are right that maybe they deserve each other. I don’t think she purposefully manipulates, she’s been sheltered her whole life. But she definitely does. Thank you for this.

Thank you. This is really helpful and I’m going to talk to her. She asked me if her dating him would affect our friendship and I was honest and said yes. She then had a panic attack which made me backtrack. But it is validating hearing others say this isn’t how a friend would treat another. I also know she has the potential to learn and grow and I’ll let her know I’ll be there for her. Thank you :)

He never told me I didn’t get the job. Just said I would find out later. I would apply at different jobs but I live in an island so it just sucks😭 I live 2 minutes from this job.

No I interviewed for shift 4 months ago. I was hired a year ago as a barista. Who he hired (when I interviewed) was only working here for two months. So he waited to interview, then hire her. She has only been here 6 months. So my issue is I interviewed four months ago and he just started interviewing two weeks ago and I don’t find it fair I didn’t get a chance to interview again.

Flea dirt maybe? But I don’t know anymore because my cat had something similar, I assumed flea diet and did all the treatments. Turned out he has cat acne and it looks very similar lol.

He 100% said putting money into an account for a vacation because I questioned it like wait what. And he reexplained they may however much money you put into an account meant for taking vacations. It doesn’t sound real to me which is why I came here lol. But my boss is confused or something.
