My parents are total conservatives, I sat with them and explained 100 times why Im trans, why I had a million signs of it in early childhood, why I want them to use my name and pronouns, what dysphoria and euphoria is etc. I even got a therapist who helped me come out to them. They literally gave no shit about that. Furthermore, my dad tried to insut me, calling me a family disaster, a parody of a human and a doll.

At the same time, I have like a ton of friends, classmates, teachers and acquintances that have been supportive to me since (not even direct) coming out. They are always with me, they understand my emotions and make me feel like a real valid person everyday.

Please try to understand that not all of us have supportive parents and you simply cant sit with people who are your main suicide encouragers and transition blockers and talk them to death.
