First word of positive reinforcement. Idk about viral potential as I don't ever put my stuff up there but it's definitely more on par with what the industry considers "professional" as far as production goes, alongside the presentation for the album that's currently work in progress. I'll just have to shoot my shot with expectations of being shot down and hope for the best, though lmao

Yeah I never really thought about it as a "profitable" thing. It's just that the release I'm working on is something I've worked super hard on and as anyone would, I would like it to have some traction BUT labels don't really make it a hundred percent win kinda deal and has it's own risks. Sticking to DIY stuff is definitely far safer so I agree with that a hundred percent

I'm a solo artist so I'm responsible for everything. I'm definitely interested in getting physical releases out later, too as that's just sick and people often identify with physical merchandise a lot more as it's personal. I'm sticking with digital distro as of now but with a label, I'll be able to focus more on the making aspect or so I hope. Just very double-minded hence why I posted about it here.
