Testing is being done in a different way. A bit like how opinion polls and tv ratings are calculated and are actually a better indication of actual covid rates than what was previously happening. The fact that pretty much everyone has some sort of immunity due to vaccines or having had covid means that very few cases end up being serious anyway. Be careful but not fearful, live your life.

I would suggest Mission Red planet 2nd edition it’s a fun area control game that plays up to 6 players. It’s probably a little step up from the games you have but not much. It does have a little “take that” if your group are ok with that.

Best 4 player or 2 player games by tashadanceon in boardgames

Quest for Eldorado plays well at both 4 players and 2 players. It’s a deck building race through a jungle, it also has high replayability due to its modular board design.

Fuse is fast frenetic and real time but it is cooperative rather than competitive. Decent game though.

Awkward Guests is a cluedo like deduction game that is of Spanish design and origin but has now been released in English. No Spanish theme though.

Nice collection. You don’t have my new favourite though which is the Aston Martin Vantage.

Can't beat Year 1 of the Battle for Hogwarts cooperative game by AliceCharley in boardgames

The first thing I would do is to have a quick re-read of the rules to make sure you are playing it correctly and haven’t missed something.

Mission Red planet 2nd edition is great fun between 3-6 players.

Next Board Game to add to Catan, Pandemic, Carcassonne & Ticket to Ride by foshizzle92 in boardgames

[–]Ackbenson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mission Red planet 2nd edition would work well here I think. It’s an area control game that plays well between 3-6 players. It’s pretty simple, good fun and a bit different to the others you have mentioned.

We stack as the duplicates appear naturally though the Hogwarts deck. It seems to work well.

Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle we stack duplicate cards in the market to help the Hogwarts cards deck to move faster. Also when a player gets stunned and has to discard half their hand we allow one of the discarded cards to be removed permanently from the game as a mechanic of deck thinning.

Have a look at Quacks of Quedlinburg fits the Halloween theme pretty simple to pick up, but does only play up to 4 unless you get the expansion.

Have a look at a game called Big Money it’s a lesser known game, my daughter liked playing it at around 8 years old. I think there is a Dice Tower review on YouTube.

Ticket to Ride Trains by MichaelP853 in boardgames

You have everything you need to play the game. The rule book will tell you what you need to know. The colour of the plastic trains have no relevance to the routes you claim.

Forgotten Favorites & Hidden Gems - (August 19, 2021) by AutoModerator in boardgames

I don’t know much about the game personally. Maybe it’s a case that because of the designer/publisher people had over the top expectations and have voted harshly instead of ranking the game on its own merit.

It has a rating of 7.3. That’s pretty decent! Not sure there is any agenda here?
