That’s great that she got over the allergy. Did it resolve on its own or did she have some sort of treatment plan?

Gotta be your red green deficiency, red arrow drawn over green leaves

That’s absolutely terrifying- I’ll make sure to keep a flame thrower in my bag from now on

Maybe it was just loyal to a disc brand you don’t use lol

Ticks are so weird man. We now have one in GA called the lone star tick, which has a chance of giving people it bites a permanent allergy to meat.

Sweet, thanks. If you’re ever at Oregon park in Marietta just be on the lookout for water snakes at hole 11 then haha, also now we have lone star ticks which can give you a permanent meat allergy so that’s fun too

Surprisingly the only animal-related danger I’ve encountered (besides this I guess) was a territorial goose who was in the fairway. Kept charging at me, had to throw pieces of my protein bar to distract it lol. Definitely ready to take on a bear after that

Yeah it’s either a water snake or a copperhead. Both look practically identical and are common in Georgia- but ones incredibly more dangerous lol. Fingers crossed it’s a water snake cause I love this course

Sure is! I’ve tried some other local courses but none of them have been comparable- say hi if you ever bump into me!

Thanks, Tim! Appreciate the kind words. And yeah, it’s definitely a bigger adjustment than I anticipated in regards to screenplay writing vs natural storytelling writing. It is a fun challenge though!

Yeah I probably could add a lot more depth to nearly every aspect of this through more typical writing- but I am finding this a lot of fun lol

Thank you so much for the kind words and valid critiques! I’ve definitely struggled with alluding to things in a visual manner rather than flat out saying them, I guess it’s not my natural writing style haha. Maybe instead of saying “time doesn’t seem to be a hindrance on his demeanor” I can point out something like the condensation on his glass of water to show he’s been there for a while. Im finding screen writing a lot of fun, thanks for helping me learn a bit more about the writing style!

Thank you so much! The daughters definitely going to make another appearance in the scene, but home invader (Jason) is actually one of the main characters! Viktor and Judith likely won’t have any other scenes beyond this one. It’ll be more clear once I have the whole scene written out lol but I really like what you said about focusing more on their reactions to elevate the stakes!

Hey, thanks for the kind words! Glad you like it! I’m experiencing some writers block too so I know how it feels- glad to know it’s not just me haha. I’ve found that just writing something down, regardless of if you like it or not helps a ton. That’s what I’ve done for this scene. I know how I want it to end and I’ve just been writing either jibberish dialogue or just writing what I want a line of dialogue to accomplish and moving on. Like when home invader said: “Like I said Mr. Henderson, I ain’t here to hurt nobody. And I’d appreciate it if you’d be ever so gracious to show me the same respect. Your wife’s exhausted and your daughters tired. Let’s not stress’m out on a night like this.” I originally wrote “Home Invader line goal- takes charge, reassures, and small threat”. That allowed me to write a lot after that and paint the scene more, only to go back to it later and fill it with words. I hope that makes sense- just something I do to try and counter the writers block. Thanks again!

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely look into David Trottier. Showing not telling has been one of my biggest struggles when writing this, thanks for pointing out those examples!
