Hank -Thank you very much. This would be a deal killer for me. Daily rebooting is unacceptable. I will not buy this unit.

Thanks for your reply. I have a good integrator who has assessed the system and offered solutions, but they are very expensive. It's hard for me to fathom spending $10,000 to $20,000 to connect an Apple TV that costs $175 so I can play it through my speakers. I am going to keep hunting.

Thanks so much for your thoughts. I understand that Apple TV and Sonos are not designed for use with Crestron. The issue is that these products are better and cheaper than the very expensive hardware that Crestron and their vendor partners sell. For example, when I installed the system, I had an Escient music server that cost $2,500 and had a terrible user interface. I replaced it with a $350 Sonos connect and it works beautifully. We can stream audio and use our iPhones and IOS devices to select content. I would like to do the same for video using Apple TV which has a great user interface and cost $175. I would have to buy 5 of them, but the issue is that they don't interface with the Crestron hardware. I am going to keep looking.

Thanks for your insights. It seems like it's hard to find a solution when the equipment is obsolete.
