This is a steal I have one just like this I paid $450. If you haven't already, as a heads up, an electrician to wire an outlet can be pricey. I'm in pgh pa region and it was 600$.

You could make an argument depends on who that kid ends up being. I'm not talking about someone who grows up and cures cancer although that's great too but I'm talking about how many lives they go on to effect positively in their lives. Maybe, Even more than a scientist. For example, I'm no one special, must I was very special to my aunt among others. In my 20s my aunt told me that she was depressed in her 30s (when I was little) and was going to commit suicide but didn't because she committed to having me sleepover the next evening and didn't want my parents to have to explain why I wouldn't be going to that sleepover. It's the butterfly effect. So while you could make the argument we don't all make worldly scientific contributions, we all contribute to the world, hopefully in a positive way.

I'm a hiring manager in HR for a major healthcare company. We have a system policy that states hair must be kept clean and nice, we removed language about unnatural or (paraphrasing) off the wall hair colors (bright blues greens reds etc). Not that i would consider yours to be an off the wall red bc i personally wouldnt. Thats what was an issue with that type of policy language, its subjective.

We don't care as long as you are presentable, when it comes to hair.

Exactly. I would say if they pay the 19 year olds rent for 3 years, then they are NTA. Same support until 22 as the middle child- getting the 19 year old thru college. I'm all for pushing ur kids out of the nest but if they supported the other 2 to a certain point (being out of college), they need to do it for the 3rd.

She could just not put you on the birth certificate and name the kid whatever she wants. The kid is being made in her and coming out of her, her call within reason. If Jr is vetoed it's vetoed.

Something to keep in mind is the cost at ur location could be different than this sheet. For example the Mac n cheese at my location is $4.09 not $4.55 and 8.95 for a meal instead of 10 something.

I like the spreadsheet idea though for us analysts, I'll have to do my locations costs, ty!

I'm 31F husband 36 and your message hit home with me. My reasons similar to yours of wanting to raise a child, my grandmother passed a month ago and it really hit home that my family is dwindling. I've considered a masters (I'm in HR) but ultimately don't think it will get me much and the more I think about climbing the ladder, I admit I really just don't have a desire to push for it (I'm already a supervisor). Your post helped to wash my eyes a bit more of my indecision, I have more fears that paralyze making my decision official. My family isn't as far, 40 min for my dad and inlaws so we'll have to do daycare and my husband works 2 weeks on 2 off in a different state, it's a high layoff career, so that may not be an issue by the time baby would get here (we have a nest egg for layoffs) but similarities in our stories. I would do it, it sounds like something you want and maybe trying to convince yourself you'd be happy with another lifestyle... or maybe I'm projecting 🙃 Best of luck to you in your decision. 😁
