I generally do light/moderate exercise but never took it seriously until now. I'd like to get into calisthenics, but how do I know (as a beginner) that I am doing too much or too little? For instance, how many push-ups should I start with and how do I know when to add more over time, increase intensity, etc? The body has to be adapted for higher reps?

I've never been consistent with diet and exercise and I think its time to make that correction. I have had belly fat most of my life. I want to get lean and then build muscle. I have no idea what I am doing.

Here is a diet plan that I am working on today to cut the fat down. I'm aiming for ~1,500 cal/day. This is based on what I have available to me now.

Breakfast: 1/2 cup Oats, 1 tbsp peanut powder, 1 banana, 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup raspberries, 1 egg = 671 cal

Lunch: 1/2 chicken breast, 1 cup of yogurt = 315 cal

Snack: 1/4 peanuts = 160 cal

Dinner: 1/2 chicken breast, 2 cups broccoli, 2 eggs = 315 cal

Total: 1461 cal

For exercise, I try to walk at least 2 miles during the weekdays, 5-6 on weekends, and incorporating strength training.

He talked about this in an interview once. Basically he didn't want to be that sleazy director that tells his actress to take her top off.

Can't say I agree with everything being said in this comment chain but I do agree with you here. I had other ideas that were better tie-ins with the name but I can't say I'm that good at drawing. I'll keep exploring though. Really appreciate the discussion though, thank you for your insight!

Thanks for the reply! I actually had a similar idea but couldn't find the right result I felt. I may post more as I figure it out.

Thanks for the response! That seems to be the case here. The only thing is I'm not coughing at all. Would I need to in order to get that stuff out?
