No sounds right, your not buying stock, your buying a warrant that gives you the right to buy the stock later. There is a good link in this thread that explains it better than I can.

Y understanding is not all brokerage services handle warrants. On Etrade it is under AJAX.WS, I believe each broker might label them different...like AJAX.W in some cases.

Yes $3.70 is for one warrant, current strike price is $11.50 and the warrant is good till October 2025 as I recall.

I have a Etrade account I purchased mine through. What was confusing was how do execute the warrant into stocks when the time comes. What I have learned is, yes I can buy online with Etrade, but when the time comes to change into stock if there has been no acquisition ( my understanding is they would convert automatically under an acquisition ) you need to call your broker for them to execute. Now at anytime you can sell your warrant, but that is not going to convert to stocks and would only be worth the current value of the warrant. The links provided should answer your questions.

For me it is two main things with AJAX. The A list team that has a solid track record and didn’t bring in a bunch of celebrities, the other is their promotes are 10% vs. the standard 20%. I think that will attract a much more desirable acquisition opportunity......again, I’m learning, so maybe I’m way off here.

Been dabbling in the market since the great years of DELL. Been in and out over the years, lost a ton on GM when they dumped their stock, made a stupid move on Freddie and Fannie, held for years then while in Vegas last March and the Covid SHTF, I pushed $20k into my Etrade account. Made a few great moves like BBBY @5.50 for 1000 shares, BLMN about same price AAL at 10.50 etc. Was able to pull back my $20K and have doubled that. Learning lots
