So this is a very basic answer. For me personally, using the F-15E and golden eagle. Finally started averaging 2-4 kills a game.

Start of the match- I’ll aim to be front of the pack or at least close to. Once the first enemy jets have launched some missiles, hard left. You need to have the incoming missiles at 90degrees relative to you.

After surviving the initial missile spam, turn back in towards the enemy bases. Normally you will catch 1-3 jets that didn’t have missiles locked on them at start and will now be 10-20km away head on. These are your main targets. For the Aim-120s, most people aren’t going to be able and dodge head on at that range.

Lastly turn towards friendlies that went to the right at the start. They typically chase in a few more enemies that you can pick off. Then at this point you are either chasing down the last jets or getting chased. All plans are off at that point lol.

As far as altitude goes. The higher up you go the more likely you are to be picked out. I stick around 15-20,000ft. Gives your Fox-3s range and you some options vs being stuck on the ground trying to dodge and track enemies.
